International Visitors'Spring Adventure in Tongnan

Where is spring in China? Right here in Tongnan

On March 6, three international visitors came to Chen Tuan's Hometown Scenic Area in Chongkan Town, Tongnan District, for an early spring experience in the golden sea of flowers.

As the rapeseed flowers enter their peak blooming season, they walked through colorful flower fields and tried various activities—from a pink sightseeing train and horseback riding to a thrill ride soaring above the sea of flowers. From ground to sky, they enjoyed panoramic views of the magnificent landscape.

They strolled through a 100-meter fairytale straw hat corridor and tasted authentic Chongqing hotpot right in the middle of the flower fields. The spicy flavors of Chongqing cuisine paired with the romantic scenery made for an unforgettable experience.

Tongnan is a renowned rapeseed hometown with over 500 years of cultivation history. Every March, nearly 30,000 mu of rapeseed flowers bloom across the fields. From the mountaintop, visitors can also see the "Tai Chi" pattern formed with rapeseed flowers and wheat.

The flowers are now in full bloom. Whether you're from near or far, Tongnan welcomes you to this golden spring date.
